'The Meg' almost gave this character a bloody farewell [spoilers]
The Meg was king of the box office this past weekend, with audiences thrilling to Jason Statham's ocean-set battle against an awakened prehistoric shark. There was plenty of blood and gore but with a PG-13 rating, director Jon Turteltaub and company were restricted from going to some of the more violent lengths they had planned. When Turteltaub came by Yahoo's Los Angeles studios he discussed two characters' fates that might have been quite different had he had his way.
