Meet Grubhub – yes, for real – the York County kitten looking for a home

YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — What do you name a cat who just keeps showing up at your door – almost like a food delivery service?

That was the question about a kitten – who kept showing up at the York County SPCA – even after they had trapped, neutered and released him.

So they named him “Grubhub” – you know, like food delivery that shows up.

When Grubhub the company heard about it, they decided to play along — sending swag, and doing something even more substantive.

“Obviously they’re a nationwide company, and for them to take such an interest in our local shelter and this awesome cat and get to highlight, the wonderful work that we do in this way is just amazing. And we’re really appreciative of them sponsoring his adoption fee, which ultimately helps eliminate one barrier to someone adopting him,” said Kristen Dempwolf, communications director at the York County SPCA

Grubhub is still available for adoption – for free, because of the donation. To learn more about him, click here.
