Meet the adorable Red River piglets born at Nashville Zoo

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – The population at the Nashville Zoo keeps growing following the birth of four Red River hogs.

According to zoo officials, the Red River hogs — three girls and one boy — were successfully delivered on April 11, and are the first of their species to be born at the zoo.

The piglets: Fig, Peach, Persimmon and Clementine are reportedly doing well, including their mother Truffles.

Zookeepers said the newest addition to the zoo will continue to live behind the scene until they are big enough to move outside for public viewing.
