The solar eclipse was also this past week, which brought out local crowds to witness this celestial event.

The latest Greater Fall River real estate report, featuring a house in Swansea that sold for $510,000. The home on Gardners Neck Road was built in 1890, and retains much of its charm with wooden accents, beamed ceilings, a wood stove, and sun-filled rooms. Mee Sum, the legendary South End Chinese food restaurant, is for sale.

“It’s taken a long time for us to make a decision, but we finally think it’s time for us to retire,” said Regina Mark, who owns Mee Sum along with her husband, Kenneth.

For now, the restaurant remains open; here's what they're asking.
