Med City FC stays perfect with another win

May 29—Med City FC stayed perfect on Friday night, scoring a 3-1 win over Joy SLP in National Premier Soccer League action at Rochester Regional Stadium.

Jack Hilton-Jones, Mazeed Aro-Lambo and Kolton Prater each scored for the Mayhem.

Prater's goal came in the 79th minute and sealed the win for Med City FC, which improved to 3-0-0 in league play and 4-0-0 overall.

Hilton-Jones' goal — a header — came in the 32 minute, off an assist from Lucas Hart.

The Mayhem took a 1-0 lead into halftime before Aro-Lambo scored after a shot attempt was blocked by Joe SLP goalie Dawson Fairchild. Aro-Lambo then calmly slotted it in from 2 yards out.

After Joy SLP narrowed the score to 2-1, Prater got his goal, Hart having sent him a perfect cross-field pass. Prater drove down the right side of the field, cut past a defender and slid a shot past Fairchild.

Med City FC plays again on Wednesday, hosting LC Aris FC at 6:45 p.m.
