MCSO, PCPD and U.S. Marshals Service arrests woman wanted for murder in Dekalb County

PHENIX CITY, Ala. (WRBL) – The Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) said a woman wanted for murder in Dekalb County, Georgia, was arrested on Monday.

MCSO says investigators along with the Phenix City Police Department (PCPD) and the U.S. Marshals Service arrested Lesha Harmon in Phenix City. At the time of her arrest, Harmon had several active felony warrants in Dekalb County, including warrants for murder.

Authorities took Harmon to the Russell County Jail and is waiting for extradition to Dekalb County for the following offenses:

  • Murder

  • Aggravated Assault

  • Possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony

  • Possession of a firearm of a convicted felon
