MCSO arrest two people after finding over $135,000 worth of meth, marijuana during narcotics search

MUSCOGEE COUNTY, Ga. (WRBL) – On Thursday, the Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office announced that two people are behind bars after authorities found multiple firearms and drugs valued over $135,000.

MCSO said the special operations unit executed a search warrant after an “extensive investigation” into illegal drug trade in Muscogee County.

Law enforcement arrested Keith Brown and Jennifer Taylor after seizing the following evidence:

  • 1.3 kilos of Methamphetamine worth $135,180

  • 6.8 grams of Marijuana worth $68

  • Two firearms

Both Brown and Taylor were taken to the Muscogee County Jail and charged with:

Brown –

  • Felony trafficking methamphetamine

  • Felony possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime

  • Felony possession of a firearm by a convicted felon

Taylor –

  • Felony trafficking methamphetamine
