McKinley Foundation hosting Monarch and Pollinator Fair

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WCIA) — The McKinley Foundation in Champaign will host a Monarch and Pollinator Fair on Saturday.

The free event will last from 1 to 4 p.m. in the main lobby of the McKinley Foundation at 410 East Daniel Street. Families are invited to come learn about the preservation of Monarch butterflies and other pollinators.

Activities will include face painting and temporary tattoos, story circles, seed bombs, crafts, and games. There will also be activities centered around science and anatomy, as well as service projects.

Organizers said the event is best suited for kids ages three to 12.

No registration is required, and both the event and parking for the event is free. Visitors should park at University lot C6, immediately west of the Foundation building.
