McConnell AFB aircraft relocating ahead of severe weather

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — McConnell Air Force Base says the base is relocating aircraft ahead of expected severe weather.

The aircraft, flown by the 22nd and 931st Air Refueling Wings, left the base Monday due to forecasted strong winds and hail potential from expected severe weather this week. They will return to the base once the current system passes.
