The Mazda6 Wagon is awesome, but it's not for America

Transcript: Mazda reveals the Mazda6 Wagon. The 2018 Mazda6 Wagon has been unwrapped at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show. Yes! Mazda is introducing a wagon into their lineup. Sadly however it’s not coming to the U.S. With the similar CX-5 being Mazda’s best seller over the past two months. It’s highly unlikely we’ll be getting the Mazda6 Wagon any time soon. Even though we’re not getting the wagon, we’re getting the turbocharged 2.5-liter engine making 250 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque in the updated sedan. While our European neighbors’ most potent option is a 2.2-liter diesel engine making 181 horsepower and 328 pound-feet of torque. If you ask us we’ll take speed over a wagon. The 2018 Mazda6 Wagon was unwrapped at the 2018 Geneva Motor show. No, you didn’t read that wrong. Mazda is introducing the wagon to the European market. It’s highly unlikely that Mazda will bring the wagon into the American market while the CX-5 is still one of Mazda’s best sellers in the states.
