Mayflower teen wins Our Little Miss World’s Universal Beauty pageant

MAYFLOWER, Ark.- A Mayflower girl is the newly crowned 2024 Our Little Miss World’s Universal Beauty.

Kristyn Lynch is a 14-year-old Mayflower native who attends St. Joesph School in Conway.

“It’s just the best experience ever,” Kristyn said. “When I heard that I won, I was like bawling my eyes out and covered my mouth, and I was like, ‘What? No way.’”

“Yeah, I’m super proud of her. She does great I mean, yes, I pay for things, but I didn’t do it. She did it,” her mom April Lynch said. “I mean, I couldn’t have done what she did.”

The OLM motto is “It’s nice to be important, but it’s more important to be nice.” April Lynch stated, “They do a really good job of showing that to everyone, not just the girls, the parents too.”

Kristyn recalled her favorite part of the week being a themed party.

“This theme was up up and away,” she said. “I kind of did a flight attendant idea and it was so fun we all got to dance around and jam out to music.”

The competition was held Jan. 11 through the 15 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where Kristyn competed in interview, evening gown, on-stage question, casual wear and team OLM, which is where they are judged on how well they interact with their peers.
