Maya Rudolph’s Key to Ivanka Trump Impression: ‘She Talks Like She Has a Sexy Secret’
Saturday Night Live alum Maya Rudolph stopped by Late Night With Seth Meyers and shared a new impression. During her time on SNL, Rudolph became known for her hilarious impressions of Oprah, Whitney Houston, and Donatella Versace, among others. On Monday night, Rudolph not only revealed her Ivanka Trump impression, but she also revealed the secret to doing it.
“She kind of talks like she has a sexy secret,” Rudolph said, adding, “She’s always talking like she’s working in a lingerie store.”
Rudolph also had some advice for Trump concerning the use of air quotes.
“Don’t quote stuff that’s real,” Rudolph said while making air quotes, “because that just makes you look really stupid.”
