Maury County Public Schools will reopen Wednesday following several days of closure after last week's storms, which resulted in an EF-3 tornado in Columbia.

MCPS Communications Director Jack Cobb issued a statement, which included schools remaining closed Tuesday.

"If you live in or near the affected areas, lease look out for transportation updates regarding buses on Wednesday," Cobb said.

All graduations, athletics and extracurricular performances will occur as scheduled. The Boys & Girls Club will remain open, as well as its Wayne Street and Teen Center locations.
