The president's son, Ahmedou, told The Associated Press Thursday that said he is doing very well at a military hospital in Paris, after being accidentally shot by Mauritanian army troops on Oct. 13. Aziz, 55, was traveling in a car which did not stop for a military checkpoint and so guards opened fire on the vehicle. Family members said Aziz was injured in the abdomen.
