Murray’s performance in the first game of this series was truly sensational. He was able to turn aside 30 of the 32 shots he faced. But it wasn’t just the number of shots, it was the quality of shots. Adding to his demo reel, Murray also made a similarly spectacular save in the second period.

The Capitals offense is going to be in tough if Murray continues to play like he did in Game 1. Despite letting in a goal on the first shot he faced, the two-time Stanley Cup Champion battled back and was Pittsburgh’s best player on Thursday night.
