Mass. gas prices down another 2 cents

Mass. gas prices down another 2 cents, but remain a dime above the national average

BOSTON (AP) -- The cost of a gallon of gasoline in Massachusetts has dipped another 2 cents in the past week.

AAA Southern New England reports Monday that the average price of a gallon of self-serve, regular has fallen to $3.64, still a dime higher than the national average.

Massachusetts prices are 9 cents higher per gallon than a year ago but 7 cents lower than a month ago.

AAA found self-serve, regular selling for as low as $3.45 and as high as $3.89.
