Maryland weather: Tuesday will be warm and sunny, then rain moves in

Tuesday’s weather in Baltimore will be much like Monday’s: warm and sunny.

A day after the thermometer topped out at 84, it’s expected to reach around 78 with clear skies most of the day, according to the National Weather Service.

Enjoy the sunshine because you won’t see much of it the rest of the week.

There’s a 30% chance of showers starting Wednesday at 3 a.m., then a 60% chance starting at 9 a.m. and an 80% chance at night. The high temperature is expected to be around 71.

On Thursday, showers are likely and a thunderstorm is possible before 9 a.m., then showers could stick around. The day will be mostly cloudy with a high near 71 and a 70% chance of precipitation, dipping to 40% at night.

Friday will be mostly cloudy with a high near 73.

Saturday has a 40% chance of rain and Sunday a 30% chance, with highs around 73 and 66, respectively. Monday will be mostly sunny with a high near 68.
