Maryland weather: Clear skies ahead, with temperatures reaching mid-80s Sunday and low 90s Monday

Apr. 23—Scattered sprinkles early Thursday morning are forecast to give way to a clear weekend around Baltimore that will heat up significantly heading into next week.

Rain is expected to stop by 7 a.m. Thursday before temperatures reach the 60s in the afternoon and drop to around 40 degrees at night, according to the National Weather Service.

Friday is forecast to be sunny with an afternoon high near 65 before temperatures dip into the 40s again at night.

Saturday is expected to have an afternoon high temperature around 66 and a nighttime low near 50.

Sunday is forecast to be Sunny with temperatures breaking into the mid-80s in the afternoon. Monday is forecast to be mostly sunny with a high temperature around 89.
