Maryland Democratic Senate primary: Live results

Rep. David Trone (D) and Price George’s County Executive Angela Alsobrooks are competing for the Democratic nomination in Maryland’s surprisingly heated Senate race.

Trone, the co-owner of Total Wine, has poured millions into the race and argued that his wealth makes him a better candidate to take on the likely GOP nominee, former Gov. Larry Hogan (R), in the fall. Alsobrooks, meanwhile, has the backing of several notable Democrats, including Gov. Wes Moore (D).
