'Martha & Snoop's Potluck Dinner Party' recreates iconic scene from 'Ghost'
Everyone’s favorite show about convicted felons cooking, Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party, just released its Season 2 promo. In honor of their culinary romance, the show gave a nod to everyone’s favorite movie about a woman who kisses her dead husband, Ghost. The show recreated the iconic clay wheel scene between Demi Moore and Patrick Swayze.
The promo starts with a record player playing the Righteous Brothers’ hit “Unchained Melody” while Martha Stewart unbuttons a white blouse to decorate a spinning cake. Snoop Dogg then sits behind her. They intermingle their hands in the frosting much like Demi Moore and Patrick Swayze did in the original scene in Ghost.
Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party premieres Monday, Oct. 16, at 10 p.m. on VH1.
