On the Market: Buckhead Penthouse Makes Elsa's Ice Castle Seem Cozy

Josh Green

If there's ever a movie called "Frozen II: Elsa Moves to A-Town," it'll be based at this arctic penthouse in the 2828 Peachtree building. Here's the plot: The crown princess of Arendelle, tired of her ditzy sis, wants a little cosmopolitan Hotlanta in her cold heart, so she plunks down $1.09 million for this 2,300-square-foot condo and convinces herself that $1,277 in monthly HOA payments are worth it. (Orphaned princesses roll phat.) She trades views of that idyllic harbor for Stone Mountain and Buckhead's commercial district. Being stranger than she lets on, she actually likes the mirrored ceilings in the master bathroom, the ubiquitous white walls and all those ice-slick travertine floors (cold doesn't bother her anyway). She enjoys the high-speed elevators and three deeded parking spaces (carriages can be so cumbersome) and throws raucous all-night ragers (see that wet bar and wine cooler!) with her neighbor down the street, Elton John, until the HOA has her evicted. As APD drags Elsa, weeping, from her two-bedroom sky palace, she cries, "I'll miss you, wooden built-ins, oversized balcony, unique wall of customized balcony doors and Walk Score of 89!" One cop responds: "Let it go, let it go!" All ends well when Princess Anna texts her sister that Arendelle's Walk Score is 100.
