Mark Zuckerberg's Daughter Turns One and Gives Him the Sweetest Gift

Mark Zuckerberg's daughter is growing up so fast! The proud dad shared a sweet photo of little Max's first birthday celebration on his Facebook page Wednesday and revealed the gift she gave to him on her own big day.

"Can't believe it's been a year!," the Facebook CEO captioned the snap (above). "And she kissed me on the cheek for the first time yesterday :). Here's to many more years of happiness and health for Max and all children around the world."

In the photo, he chubby cheeked little one rocks an 'I Am One' birthday party hat and a robot-emblazoned shirt as mom Priscilla Chan cradles her in her arms. Zuckerberg can be seen looking at his daughter with a smile while wearing a matching party hat on his head.

The couple announced little Max's arrival on Facebook on Dec. 1, 2015 and revealed that they planned to launch the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative on her behalf. "We are committed to doing our small part to help create this world for all children," he wrote on Facebook at the time. "We will give 99% of our Facebook shares--currently about $45 billion--during our lives to join many others in improving this world for the next generation."

Since welcoming their daughter, Mark has shared plenty of photos of their little girl's milestones, including her first trip to the pool and her first word: not mom or dad, but "dog."
