Everyone and his dog is in Avengers: Infinity War.

We wouldn't be all that surprised if it turned out the staff of Digital Spy were in Infinity War (pro tip: here is a list of literally everyone who's in Infinity War).

And now Mark Ruffalo aka Bruce Banner aka The Hulk has hinted at the inclusion of two more Marvel major players in the superhero showdown.

Talking on Michael Rapaport's podcast I Am Rapaport Ruffalo was asked about which actors he'd worked with he had been particularly impressed with.

Ruffalo listed Tilda Swinton and Cate Blanchett, saying he'd worked with them recently.

Ruffalo has been filming on Avengers: Infinity War for the first half of the year and doesn't appear to have been shooting anything else in 2017.

Blanchett played Hela in Thor: Ragnarok, which also starred Mark Ruffalo (which obviously he could have been referring to) while he hasn't ever starred opposite Swinton in a film.

Swinton played The Ancient One in Doctor Strange and it would be entirely plausible that she return for Infinity War (everyone else is...).

It's been confirmed that Benedict Cumberbatch's Stephen Strange will be appearing, as well as Benedict Wong, as Wong.

Specifics about the movie are still vague but here's the official synopsis:

"As the Avengers and their allies have continued to protect the world from threats too large for any one hero to handle, a new danger has emerged from the cosmic shadows: Thanos."

"A despot of intergalactic infamy, his goal is to collect all six Infinity Stones, artifacts of unimaginable power, and use them to inflict his twisted will on all of reality.

"Everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment – the fate of Earth and existence itself has never been more uncertain."

Avengers Infinity War will open in UK cinemas on April 27, 2018, and in the US on May 4, 2018.
