Marion Caunter to keep baby's gender secret

29 Aug - After having recently announced that she is five months pregnant, the E! News Asia host and Malaysian personality revealed in an exclusive interview with E! News Asia yesterday that she and husband SM Nasarudin SM Nasimuddin know the sex of their baby, but are keeping it a secret.

Caunter who married the chairman of Naza Group last December, gushed on E! with her excitement of venturing into motherhood, " I knew I wanted to be a mother when I would see pregnant moms out there and would be like oh my god they are so cute!".

The couple's bundle of joy is reportedly due in December this year, in time for the pair's first year wedding anniversary, but for now the mom to be is keeping the baby's gender a secret.

"I do pretty much know the baby is a boy or girl, but I think that will be our little secret for now. I just want something to keep to myself." For potential baby names however, Caunter reveals that she has no idea and is open to fans suggesting baby names for her on her Twitter account.

"I hope to be a cool mom, I hope I can communicate with my kid and want he or she to know that they can't have everything in the world. We don't want to raise a spoiled kid".

She added, "Nasa wants as many as he can have, but its easy for the man to say, but if he can share the responsibility of being pregnant then yeah, sure, but definitely more than one, because we both grew up in a family with siblings.

The presenter is currently keeping herself busy with work, but will be taking some time off in her third trimester because she says, "the baby is more important than anything right now".
