Marian Rivera says she has 'no problem' meeting with Karylle

8 Feb – Marian Rivera recently stated her meeting with Karylle was not such a big deal as people made it out to be, since they never had a problem in the first place.

As reported on PEP, rumours of rift between the two sparked back in 2008 following Karylle's breakup with then boyfriend Dingdong Dantes, who was working with Rivera on their hit drama, "MariMar" at the time.

Dantes and Rivera started dating a year after, which fuelled rumours that Karylle's relationship with Dantes ended because of her. Karylle later married rock star Yael Yuzon, while Dantes and Rivera tied the knot nine months after.

Both Karylle and Rivera have denied reports of a conflict between them.

When asked about the meeting, which Karylle's good friend Vice Ganda talked about on his show back in January, Rivera reiterated that she never had any issue with Karylle.

"I have said since day one that I have no problem with her. Every time we see each other, we will greet one another," she said.

She also stated that she is cordial with another of Dantes' ex-girlfriend, Antoinette Taus.

"It won't be good if I ponder on the negative. Just good vibes all around, relax. What more can I ask? I am so thankful," she said.
