Mariah Carey took to the stage for a rather strange performance in Las Vegas earlier this year, in a clip that's now going viral. The 47-year-old may be known for her vocals, but it was her dancing that stole the show. Or, really, her lack of dancing.

In video filmed during Carey's concert, she can be seen alongside her backup dancers as she perfoms "Honey." And it's not that she doesn't know the choreography, but more than she just... can't be bothered with it?! I mean, this is Mariah Carey after all - or any of us when we're dragged to the dancefloor but would really rather not. In true Mimi fashion, it's clear she doesn't feel comfortable unless she's being carried by her dancers.

Fittingly, social media had some fun with the footage, with fans taking to Twitter to share some jokes of their own.

Carey is no stranger to critiques of her live performances She stole headlines after she appeared to be lip synching during a performance at Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve. She later attributed the faux pas to ABC's technical difficulties.

In all the mishaps that Carey can't seem to get away from, one thing's for sure - Mimi marches to the beat of her own drum. And at her own pace.
