Mariachi Los Camperos to perform at this Fresno theater
FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A grammy-award winning mariachi, Los Camperos, will be live with the Fresno Philharmonic at the Saroyan Theater, the Fresno Philharmonic officials announced on Monday.
Mariachi Los Camperos is led by Jesús “Chuy” Guzmán. They will be joined by the Fresni Philharmonic, conducted by Alexandra Arrieche, for an evening celebrating the golden era of mariachi music.
According to officials, thanks to the Fresno Philharmonic’s supporters, over 400 elementary, middle, high school and college students will be able to attend the Mariachi Los Camperos concert for free. Many of these students participate in their school’s mariachi ensembles.
The concert will be held at the William Saroyan Theater located at 730 M Street on Saturday, March 9 at 7:30 p.m.
