March is Oyster Month at Jax Fish House

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — March is Jax Fish House’s Oyster Month, so it’s the ideal time to celebrate, Jax features incredible offers with additional food and drink specials.

Ready, set, slurp! FOX21’s Krista Witiak and members of the Jax crew in downtown Colorado Springs discuss how, alongside the oyster specials, diners can celebrate Oyster Month at Jax.

At the Colorado Springs location, the restaurant is serving:

  • East Coast (Hot): Spoonbread baked oyster with charred green onion aioli and a compressed apple.

  • East Coast (Cold): A raw oyster on the half shell with tomato and sassafras root jam, country ham lardons, and pickled asparagus shavings.

  • West Coast (Hot): A plant-based chorizo, sourdough crumb compote, micro cilantro, and white onion mignonette.

  • West Coast (Cold): A raw oyster on the half shell with Napa Valley red wine gelée and fresh horseradish.

Guests can still find the regular menu of fresh oysters from both coasts, including Jax’s proprietary CrackerJax oyster.
