March 7th – March 8th Rainfall Totals

After having a rather wet January, Central Illinois started to go dry through the 1st week of March, but that all changed Thursday Night and Friday. There were lots of 0.5″ + reports across the area, making this one of the highest rainfalls in over a month. In fact, Champaign’s 0.85″ during this event was the most rain in one sitting since January 25th!

NOTE: Some of these CoCoRaHS reports came from areas outside of towns. The nearest town was used to identify the location.
