Rooftop Prince
Genre: Time Travel, Romance, Friendship
Cast: Park Yoo Chun, Han Ji Min, Lee Min Ho, Jung Suk Won, Choi Woo Shik
Storyline: Enraged Joseon crown prince accidentally travels through time to find the murderer of his wife, and has no choice but to crash at the house of a very simple woman - along with his three bodyguards. Talk about ‘Buy 1 Get 3 Free’. The crown prince and his entourage have to learn to accustom themselves to modern life, while looking for the real murderer. And a way home.
Why Watch: Yoochun and his entourage are super funny, especially when they appear in modern Seoul. They scamper across the street, wary of the alien-looking moving vehicles and make their way towards Chang Deok Palace, where they ultimately realise that it’s not home - ha. Also, something to watch is the way Yoochun and Han Ji Min enjoy their soju. A shot of soju, a spritz of whipped cream!
Lie to Me
Genre: Romance
Cast: Kang Ji Hwan, Yoon Eun Hye, Sung Joon
Storyline: Gong Ah Jung made a small lie (or so she thought) to show off to her friend. But when the lie turns into a full fledged affair, and even involves the president of a hotel, will she be able to save herself from the mess she singlehandedly created?
Why Watch: A prim and proper heir in the company, but a super sweet and playful husband at home - girls you have to watch Kang Ji Hwan in this drama. And of course, remember to watch the famous ‘Cola Kiss’. Our first thought was, “wow that escalated quickly”.
