President Donald Trump made the claim despite only two Democrats opposing Thursday's impeachment resolution in the U.S. House of Representatives, the first vote in a process that is expected to lead to an impeachment trial.

No House Republicans voted for the resolution.

On Friday, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi predicted that committess leading the impeachment inquiry into President Trump will begin holding public hearings this month.
