Manitowoc letter-writer: Remember those who died fighting for our country when you vote in November

Here is this week’s letter to the editor of the Herald Times Reporter. See our letters policy below for details about how to share your views.

Remember those who died fighting for our country when you vote in November

As you contemplate your vote in November, ask yourself if you want to vote for a candidate who:

Has said he will be a dictator for one day? What if he likes it?

Has said he will pardon convicted criminals for crimes they committed that directly benefited himself?

Has said military personnel who die in battle are losers and suckers?

Who said John McCain was not a war hero and further stated he liked people who weren’t captured?

Who went through three attorneys general in one presidential term because they wouldn’t do what he wanted?

Who thought hanging his vice president wasn’t such a bad idea while the nation’s capitol was being overrun?

Who said he would be a president of retribution?

Who might that candidate be? Donald J. Trump.

We remember this month those who lost their lives fighting for our country. Please continue to remember them as you go to the polls in November.

Donald Vogt
