At this point, This Is Us star Mandy Moore is a red carpet veteran. She knows how to put together a look that stuns. But tonight it wasn’t just her dress that was dazzling — her gorgeous engagement ring stole the show.

Moore’s strapless black and white tiered gown was perfectly accessorized with her new left-hand bling, courtesy of her fiancé, Dawes frontman Taylor Goldsmith. The simple but impactful band, a round solitaire diamond with pavé diamonds, made its official red carpet debut Friday night at a pre-Emmys party, but nothing makes it official quite like a big awards show red carpet!

This week, Moore’s co-stars confirmed the happy news to Us Weekly. As Chris Sullivan told the magazine, “It’s pretty great. Her now-fiancé, Taylor, is quickly becoming one of my favorite people.”

Goldsmith reportedly popped the question on Monday at their home in Los Angeles. Moore was photographed out and about the next day with her new bling at Caffe Luxe in L.A’s Brentwood neighborhood.

Moore, 33, and Goldsmith started dating back in the summer of 2015, shortly after she finalized her divorce from singer Ryan Adams. Last year, Moore spoke candidly about her split during a This Is Us panel, calling it “tough.”

“Life is not easy,” she admitted. “I think it’s been great to be able to take all the chapters in my life and be able to pour it into a job like this because it all helps. It’s all fuel.”

Moore and Adams, 42, separated after nearly six years of marriage.

“I think I spent a good portion of the last years of my life really pouring all of my energy into my life and relationship, and now that’s sort of not part of my life anymore,” Moore added. “It’s just not a coincidence to me that things sort of opened back up, and I’m able to focus back on myself again.”

It seems that mentality helped create the foundation that led to her relationship (and now engagement) with Goldsmith. According to her co-star Jon Huertas they’re the perfect fit.

“I’m really excited for her. I’m happy. I think Taylor’s a great guy. A very talented musician. But what’s more important, he’s a great guy,” Huertas told Us. “He’s funny, he’s sweet, he’s loyal. He’s just a really good guy. We have to find the right match, and I think Mandy and Taylor found the right match.”

Cheers to the happy couple!
