Man shot after argument near French Quarter
NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Officers with the New Orleans Police Department are investigating a shooting that left a man wounded near the French Quarter on Monday, March 18.
The NOPD reported the shooting happened at the intersection of Canal and Royal streets around 3:43 p.m.

According to police, the man was arguing with another person, who then shot him and ran away from the scene.
The victim was taken to a local hospital by EMS and was last reported to be in stable condition.
The NOPD did not release any additional details.
