Man wearing a wig robs Southaven credit union

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Southaven Police Department is searching for a man who robbed a credit union Thursday afternoon.

Southaven Police responded to SecurTrust Federal Credit Union on Goodman Road East at 12:18 p.m. Thursday.

According to police, an armed man wearing a blonde wig robbed the credit union and fled the scene in a white Ford F-250. The suspect reportedly wrecked the truck as he fled the scene.

Southaven Police say the suspect was also wearing an orange work vest, a red hat, a red mask, and red sweatpants with white stripes.

The suspect’s truck was reportedly stolen out of Memphis an hour before the robbery. Police say the truck has a logo on the back driver-side door and will have damage on the passenger side.
