Man wanted for alleged shooting in Luzerne County

HAZLETON, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Police in Luzerne County are searching for a man who is wanted for an alleged shooting incident.

The Hazleton City Police Department says Enemecio Espiritu is wanted on multiple charges stemming from a shooting incident on July 5, 2022.

Volunteer firefighter accused of setting house on fire

Espiritu is charged with firearm violations and recklessly endangering another person.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Hazleton City Police or 911. Officers note citizens to not approach the suspect.
