Man Uses Baseball Bat to Rescue Driver in Boca Raton Car Accident

A man with a baseball bat broke out the windows of a Jeep after the vehicle slammed the wall, allowing rescuers in Boca Raton, Florida, to shut off the car and get the driver safely out of the vehicle following a March 16 traffic accident.

Adam Turetsky, who filmed the rescue and witnessed the accident, said the driver passed out and hit the wall, causing two of the tires to explode. Turetsky identified one of the men as local politician Andy Thomson, who had just lost a race for city council. Storyful could not confirm the identification, but the car carrying the man with the baseball bat had Thomson’s campaign signs in the back. Credit: Adam Turetsky via Storyful
