Man taken into custody after officer-involved shooting in Sauget
SAUGET, Ill. – New information about a shooting earlier this morning: police are now saying the shooting involved a police officer.
It happened in the parking lot of ‘Route 3 Fuel and Liquor’ on Mississippi Avenue around 3:00 a.m. Police shared that someone who was committing a crime at the convenience store fired his weapon when the officer arrived.
