Man stabbed at University at Buffalo NFTA station

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Two Buffalo men were involved in a stabbing at University Station on Friday, according to the NFTA.

A group of people were allegedly arguing in the bus station lobby on the University at Buffalo South campus around 1:30 p.m. According to an NFTA public information officer, a 36-year-old man pulled out a knife and stabbed a 48-year-old man as the fight escalated.

The victim was transported to ECMC for non-life-threatening injuries. The alleged assailant is being held in police custody.
