Man stabbed in the ear during fight on NYC street: NYPD

QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) — A man was stabbed in the ear during a fight on a Queens street Tuesday night, police said.

The suspect pulled a large knife and slashed the 48-year-old man’s right ear during an argument near Queens Boulevard and 46th Street in Sunnyside just before 11 p.m., according to the NYPD. The victim’s blood was splattered on the sidewalk and the weapon was spotted nearby, according to video from the scene.

It was unclear if the men knew each other or what sparked the fight. The victim is not cooperating with police, authorities said.

Law enforcement sources said a man wearing a black jacket was seen leaving the scene. There have been no arrests.
