Man sought for breaking into Franklin apartment, stealing people’s mail

FRANKLIN, Tenn. (WKRN) – The Franklin Police Department is searching for a man who allegedly broke into an apartment and stole other people’s mail.

Police said the suspect broke into a vacant apartment in the 400 block of Nichol Mill Lane through a patio door on either April 25 or 26. Officers determined packages were stolen from two residents in the apartment complex.

Surveillance video from two doorbell cameras showed a man, unknown to apartment complex staff, carrying packages throughout a hallway. Officers later recovered the parcel boxes in the apartment that was broken into, according to investigators.
