Man snatches display with $3,400 worth of NY lotto tickets in Manhattan: NYPD

MANHATTAN, N.Y. (PIX11) — Police are searching for a man who stole around $3,400 worth of lottery tickets from a 7-Eleven on Sixth Avenue in Manhattan last month, according to the NYPD.

The theft took place around 6:40 p.m. on April 20, police said. The suspect brandished a knife at an employee before removing a display that contained the lottery tickets, according to the NYPD.

He was last seen fleeing south on Sixth Avenue.

Police described the suspect as a man between 25 and 30 years old, approximately 6’0” tall, with black hair. The NYPD released surveillance images of the suspect.
