Man shot, killed in Northwest DC

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) is investigating after a man was shot and killed in Northwest D.C. on Monday.

Officers responded to the report of gunshots in the 900 block of Shepherd St. NW at about 2:41 a.m. There, they found a man with gunshot wound injuries. He died there.

He was identified as 32-year-old Jeremy Dewayne Johnson of Southeast D.C.

Anyone with information is asked to call MPD at (202) 727-9099 or text the department’s tip line at 50411. A reward of up to $25,000 is offered to anyone with information leading to the arrest and conviction of those involved.
