Man shot, killed in Adelphi; PGPD searching for suspects

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — The Prince George’s County Police Department (PGPD) is searching for the person responsible for a fatal shooting in Adelphi on Wednesday afternoon.

Officers responded to the report of a shooting in the 1900 block of Erie Street at about 3:40 p.m. Once at the scene, they found a man outside who had been shot – he died there.

He was identified as 20-year-old Kevin Moscoso-Lopez of Adelphi.

Police have not yet identified any suspects or a motive.

PGPD is offering a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone with information leading to the arrest and indictment of those responsible. Anyone who would like to speak to a detective can call (301) 516-2512.
