Man shot in downtown San Diego

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — A man was shot early Monday in downtown San Diego, police said.

Shortly after 1 a.m., police received a call that a man had been stabbed near 5th Avenue and Broadway, SDPD confirmed to FOX 5/KUSI. When officers arrived, they found the man had actually been shot in the stomach.

Paramedics took the man to a hospital, where his condition was unknown, police said.

No arrests have been made.
