Man shot to death in Parksley area, sheriff’s office says

PARKSLEY, Va. (WAVY) — Authorities say they’re investigating a homicide after a man was found shot to death in the Parksley area on Thursday.

Accomack County Sheriff Todd Wessels said deputies found 52-year-old Kevin Thomas Boggs, of Parksley, dead from apparent gunshot wounds just before 8:30 a.m. on Dennis Drive. That’s east of Hopeton, about halfway to Route 13.

Wessels says Boggs’ body was taken to the Medical Examiner’s Office in Norfolk, and the case is being investigated as a homicide. No other details are available.
