Man shot at bus stop near Public Square has died

CLEVELAND (WJW) — A man shot outside a bus stop near Cleveland’s Public Square has died, according to the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The office on Tuesday morning identified the victim as 36-year-old Juan Rampon Ruiz Lopez, of Cleveland.

The shooting happened just before 1 a.m. on Friday, March 22, at the bus stop near Superior Avenue, according to authorities.

He was shot multiple times, according to Cleveland EMS.
First responders transported the victim to a nearby hospital, where he died on Monday, March 25, according to the medical examiner.
His death was ruled a homicide.
