Man shot on bicycle in Hampton; police search for suspects
HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) — Hampton Police are searching for suspects in connection to a shooting Friday morning, police said.
The call came in around 12:30 a.m. Preliminary investigations revealed a man was riding his bicycle in the 1st block of Triple Crown Court when a vehicle drove up. After words were exchanged between the victim and suspect(s), the victim heard a gunshot and realized he was struck.
Officers found the victim after they were notified, while responding to the incident, of a walk-in gunshot victim at Sentara Careplex. The victim suffered non life-threatening injuries.
