Man says he was shot by 2 masked men in South Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — An investigation is underway after a man was shot in South Nashville early Thursday morning.

The shooting happened at a residence on Glastonbury Drive just after 1 a.m.

Metro police reported the victim had just gotten home when he heard a knock at the door. The victim told officers two masked men were at the door and one shot him in the buttocks.

The suspects then ran away from the scene. The victim was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Investigators are working to determine if the shooting could be connected to road rage.
