Man pleads not guilty to attempted murder in Morrison St stabbing

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A 25-year-old man pleaded not guilty to attempted murder and assault charges filed in connection with a stabbing.

Andy Burgos Garcia was arraigned Wednesday and is being held on $525,000 bail. He’s due back in court March 25.

Bakersfield officer, 2 others hurt in East Brundage Ln crash

Police arrested Garcia early Monday after a man was stabbed in the 100 block of Morrison Street, west of north Stine Road and north of Brundage Lane. Police said the victim was in stable condition.
